Each workshop will begin at 12:30 at the designated location with a meet and greet and gradidude circle. We will conclude each session with a warm cup of tea while we discuss what we enjoyed, learned and struggled with. Come connect with with nature through community.

September 28 - Shelter Building (Survival)
This wilderness survival workshop is designed to teach basic shelter building skills for survival. With some knowledge plus a little confidence you can survive almost anywhere!
This three-hour, hands-on workshop includes the basics of:
Styles of shelters
Location choice
Knots required
Throughout the class you will have the opportunity to practice the skills you learn.

October 26 - Tree Identification (Environmental Education)
Join us at the tree identification workshop where we will explore native trees through their bark, leaves, and structure. This hands-on experience will deepen your understanding and appreciation of the diverse trees in our environment.
This three-hour, hands-on workshop includes the basics of:
Coniferous vs Deciduous
Why leaves change colour
Identification of 5 major trees by bark, and leaf shape and arrangement.
Throughout the class you will have the opportunity to practice the skills you learn.

November 23 - Christmas Nature Decorations (Art)
Experience the Christmas workshop and indulge in the magic and joy of the holiday season. Get creative by making ornaments out of natural elements, fostering a deeper connection with nature and the festive spirit.
This three-hour, hands-on workshop includes the basics of:
Learn how and what natural materials to use to make Christmas ornaments
Identify native plants
Make your own ornaments to take home
Throughout the class you will have the opportunity to practice the skills you learn.

Need to know
No previous experience required
Wear weather appropriate clothes as we will be outdoors the whole time
Bring your own water bottle and snacks, a warm cup of tea will be offered for during out closing
Please arrive a couple of minutes early for us to be able to start at 12:30
